At Sanctuary
I try to use the phrase of Daniel Priestly “Your best thinking five years ago is your baggage today” and I like to see myself as a person who is looking to advance the way I run the business and the way I interact with clients.
I believe that the world of financial planning needs to encapsulate the persons specific objective and that all planning is built around this. I feel that I work in a profession that is based on knowledge, I am constantly looking to build my knowledge through seminars, conferences and exams.
At Home
It is almost 20 years since I left a small village in the west of Ireland to come to Cardiff for a short period of time. Cardiff is now home, I am proud to be part of this amazing area that I am so fortunate to share with my wife and son.
After many years of playing football and Gaelic football for Cardiff I am now “officially” retired. I feel many would say not before time. Nothing can replace the buzz of team events and training for something special – I still continue to train but now I restrict this to the gym and my WattBike. I need something to help me burn off the calories of the chocolate.

What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a financial adviser?
Financial advice about transferring an occupational pension into a private pension.
How did they help you?
Helped by giving me advice which was thorough and comprehensive, identifying the pros and cons of each financial option available. Then managing and coordinating the transfer of the pension, from the occupational pension to a private pension and monitoring its performance.
What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
The pension is now invested in a suitable personal pension, which is appropriate to my individual nears, the outcome has been very favourable.
What could they have done better?
Nothing, I am very satisfied with the advice and services I have received.
